This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Okay, so this should not be that big of deal right...I mean I used to run around all the time as a little kid from sun up to down down without getting tired.
I ran for miles daily in the Army without getting winded. I used to play basketball for hours with kids half my age and twice my physique and held my own.
Then I had kids, well my ex-wife did all that but as she ballooned, so did I. It was all down hill from there. But now that I am getting on in years I have come to realize I will never be that young and spry again and if I intend to stay healthy and be there for my girls when they may need me, I need to start somewhere.
My wife decided to start a list of 100 things to do in 1001 days and running a 5K is one of them. To help support her I decided to run with her. She has been training for about two months and I have ran with her twice in that time until this morning. I knew I would be out of shape but also knew I would not finish last.
I didn't. unofficial time is about 34 minutes. 5K is about 3.2 miles. Not close to the sub 6 minute miles I used to run but also not bad for an out of shape computer nerd.
Mad props go out to my wife for finishing 33:21...GREAT JOB! She passed me half way through when I started walking with a cramp in my calf...I sucked it up and ran the rest of the way.
Next year I will beat my time and take a bunch of friends with me..it was a great experience.
..time for a shower...and some pie...Happy T-day everyone!
